Mana Islam · Ummah Kotahi

Hosted by reverts, for reverts.

Mana Islam is iERA New Zealand's community night led by revert Muslims. Real stories, a talk, a mihi and kai together. Muslims and non-Muslims, bring the whole whānau.

What happens on the night

Nau mai, haere mai. Everyone is welcome.

  • A mihi (traditional Māori welcome)
  • New Zealanders share how they found Islam
  • A short reminder from a local shaykh
  • Shared dinner (kai) and time to talk

Mana Islam nights have been held at MIYC Masjid, Avondale Islamic Centre and Masjid Al-Rahman in Ranui, West Auckland, usually from Maghrib to Isha. Dates are announced on Instagram and on our events page.
